I have been getting 10+ requests everyday to make a shampoo that will work along with Nisha Varnyam hair oil. I took my time coz I wanted to make the best Hair wash in the world. After 30+ iterations, here it is! The Acharya Panchakarma Hair wash.

When i took up this challenge, I realized two things: 

1. It's impossible to make a 100% natural liquid Hair wash. Without preservatives, it wouldn't last more than a couple of days. And preservatives are bad for hair. 

2. Nothing can beat freshly made Hair wash.

Let’s see how we can take out the gooey goodness out of the pouch. 

Step 1: Soaking - Take around 30 to 50 ml of water in a bowl and soak the herb pouch overnight in it. 

Step 2: Squeezing in the morning - squeeze out all the gooey goodness out of the herb pouch. You might not be able to squeeze out everything and that's ok. I have put a lavish amount of herbs inside the pouch. Overnight soaking has brought out 90% of essence out already. Tada!! Hair wash is ready! 

Step 3: Oil your hair and scalp - Take a little Nisha Varnyam and apply it on your hair and scalp. Leave it on your hair for at least 15 minutes before you take a shower. 

Step 4: Hair washing - Massage the Hair wash on your scalp and hair for a couple of minutes and wash it off. Because it's natural, it wouldn't froth like a normal shampoo. But it’s very effective in cleaning the of dirt and dead skin. The Hair wash has orange peel as natural ph enhancer. So don't let it get to your eyes. It might sting a bit if it manages to get inside your eyes.
